Toolkit News Release

Food Waste Toolkit
In 2025, the Ontario Food Collaborative developed a Food Waste Toolkit, consisting of two parts.
The first is a step-by-step manual designed to help build partnerships between community groups and municipalities. The second includes communications and educational materials on food waste prevention, intended for use on social media and at public events.
The communications materials can be accessed on their own or bundled with the manual as part of the complete Food Waste Toolkit, which includes all the components outlined in the Beyond the Green Bin manual.
